Silk Road China 2010- Day 1...

Day one touching down at Silk Road china! Got off from reality and seeing other parts of the world. Am excited to begin my experience of taking pictures of the beauty, the people, the lifestyle, the expressions of silk road China, and now it starts off from above the skies.

Sky is the limit! Feels like i was at space when i see this picture.

The great desert awaits !

Our first night, cold like beginning of winter, stalls outside our hotel selling juicy fruits and all kinds of nuts,
amazing thing about this is that they can speak Russian! and the words they read are mandarin plus jawi and russian. And they are Chinese China! *the minorities*

THE BEST bbq Beef sate ever!! *since everything there is halal.

You are so wrong if you think there is nothing in the desert. People just practically live there and survived! they do their underground water system, plantation. People just adapt to mother nature.

Something suffering about this trip, we change hotel everyday and everyday we have 3 to 8 hours journey from place to place, seems like there is no end to this road in the middle of the desert.

Silk anyone? or animal skins?

the locals selling sunflower drink i think...
How amazing it is a small seed can produce this big sunflower!

Skin of the wolves, sister is freak out holding its legs...

Just drying up themselves under the sun :p

The Grave yard

Why cant life be like a straight road..?
Civilization.

Look at the top of the mountain, there is a temple looking hut, will be going there next day!

A Holy spring..
The Holy Spring, a small river stream beneath this rock, locals believes it washes away bad luck.

Imagine, It is said that the land in the middle looks like a dragon with its wings behind.
